Role Overview:

The ASO Manager owns the strategy and execution of App Store Optimization across iOS and Android app stores, with a focus on driving high‑quality organic installs, improving conversion rates, and supporting overall subscriber growth. This role blends data‑driven optimization, creative testing, and cross‑functional collaboration to maximize app discoverability and performance across global markets.

About the role:

  • Own the global App Store Optimization (ASO) strategy and execution across iOS and Android, including keyword strategy, metadata optimization, creative assets, experimentation, and localization
  • Drive sustained organic app growth by improving app store visibility, rankings, conversion rates, and install quality across priority markets
  • Build and maintain a structured ASO experimentation roadmap for creative, messaging, and store features; synthesize learnings into clear recommendations and scalable best practices
  • Leverage Appsflyer and native app store analytics to measure ASO performance, including impressions, conversion rate, organic installs, trial/subscription starts, and downstream quality metrics
  • Partner closely with Creative, Brand, Product, Analytics, Localization, and Paid Media teams to ensure app store positioning reflects core value propositions and supports broader acquisition goals
  • Align ASO strategy with paid app install efforts to improve efficiency, insight sharing, and full‑funnel performance
  • Monitor competitive landscape, category trends, app store algorithm updates, and policy changes, proactively adjusting strategy and prioritization
  • Own ASO tooling, vendor relationships, documentation, and reporting cadences, delivering clear, executive‑ready updates on performance, insights, and growth impact

About you:  

  • 4–7+ years of experience in ASO, growth marketing, or mobile-focused acquisition roles
  • Hands‑on experience managing ASO for large‑scale consumer mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive action
  • Experience working with ASO platforms, store console tools, and analytics systems
  • Proven ability to manage creative testing programs and collaborate with creative teams
  • Experience in subscription‑based or freemium business models
  • Familiarity with paid app install campaigns and how ASO supports paid efficiency
  • Experience with international expansion, localization, and global ASO strategy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑ready summaries
